David S. Wiginton

David Wiginton is a seasoned veteran in the In-Building space, having led both regional and national programs for AT&T during his 18-year career.  David’s larger initiatives include leading In-building construction efforts for recent Super Bowls in New Orleans and Atlanta.  While at AT&T, David also held positions in Outside Plant Construction, DLC engineering, Project Management, Storm Restoration, and Quality Assurance. Earlier this year, David joined Optical Telecom and now leads the Southeast Region as part of their Executive team.

Prior to the Telecom Industry, David had a previous career as an EMS/Fire Captain for the City of Bessemer, AL Fire Department; while moonlighting as an EMT and Fire Service instructor.

David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Safety Administration and a Master’s Degree in Public and Private Management.  He has been married to his wife Rachael for 25 years, and they have 1 son who is currently pursuing a career as a firefighter/EMT.  When he’s not at work, David enjoys being with his church family, as well as playing golf and other outside activities.
